About the Issue:

Plaid Magazine presents a new look and new logo but the same awesome content
for their latest issue, featuring the work of photographers including Javier Lovera,
Dan Lim, Angela Lewis, Richard Dubois, Mike Lewis, Geneviève Charbonneau, Sean
Penhall, Christopher Wadsworth, Jaclyn Locke and Mark Binks.

As always, Plaid gives readers insight into the brands that are making an impact,
this issue focusing on Krane, Laura Siegel and Future Of Frances. Colourful
Winnipeg-based artist Takashi Iwasaki and Toronto-based photographer Robyn
Cumming are interviewed, as well as bluesy musician The Coppertone.

Editorial Director, Odessa Paloma Parker, feels the Spring/Summer 2012 issue of
Plaid marks a new beginning in the brand’s business and vision. “With the new
look, and working with some new photographers for this issue, the Plaid mandate
of supporting Canadian talent and appealing to a broad audience of readers is at an
all-time high. Our editorials are fresh and in-focus for the season’s big trends, but
as usual, we’ve put a Plaid spin on things, incorporating vintage and as much local

design as possible into the styling.”

Also new for this edition is the reduced price – only $6 at retailers nation-wide
($10 for a year’s subscription of two issues). Plaid has changed the frequency of
publishing to bi-annual, and the Spring/Summer 2012 print issue will be on shelves
until August 2012 (when their Fall/Winter issue hits the stands).
