Usually we interview bands with upcoming shows. However this week we interviewed the brain behind the shows. Young Lions Music Club is a music and culture agency in Toronto that prides itself in being young, creative, and “the right amount of reckless”. Plaid met up with founder of YLMC, Bobby Kimberley to talk about throwing unique events and “getting it right”.
YLMC is throwing two events: One is based on the Stanley Kubrick film, The Shining on September 7; the other event is going to be on a boat with special guest DJ Andy Rourke of the Smiths on September 14.
