Plaid told you earlier this week that Eight and a Half were playing at a private show at 109 OZ brought to you by Reserve Properties.

Hundreds of people RSVP’d to check out the new condo development at 109 OZ and were lucky enough to watch an intimate set by one of Toronto newest and exciting bands.

Andrew Weir spoke briefly to drummer, Justin Peroff about Eight and a Half’s future plans and their thoughts on the evening:

What’s up for you guys over the next couple months?

Coming early May we are doing some Canadian dates. We’re doing the sound academy as part of a radio contest winners thing for 102.1 The Edge tomorrow and then we’ll be hitting Hamilton, Kitchener-Waterloo, Ottawa, and Montreal. Following that we’ll be hitting the UK. One thing we’re very excited about is doing the Great Escape festival in the UK with a bunch of our compadres. We’re also playing Dundas square during NXNE.

How did tonight go for you guys?

I really didn’t know what to expect.  A lot of our homies were here so that was great. This is one of the blocks that we frequent often. It’s interesting to see the further gentrification happening and we obviously celebrated that tonight.
