The snow hasn’t even begun to fall in Toronto (maybe we’ll get lucky?), but we’re already falling for Popomomo’s S/S collection!
Founded in 2009, Popomomo (the name’s derived from the fusion of Post-Modernism) has struck a chord with fans on the West Coast of the USA, where the line’s designer, Lizz Wasserman, is based.
With a range of neutrals to bright pops, a few prints and very wearable designs (drawstring waistlines – yes please), Wasserman’s latest looks will play to the heartstrings of her fan base and should also garner her some attention elsewhere, too.
What better way to get people talking than with an excellent operation? Wasserman’s business model is honourable in every way – Popomomo’s pieces are produced from a factory in L.A., and are comprised of sustainable fabrics that are non-detrimental, organic, and made with recycled materials.
California cool with a conscience? We can’t wait for spring to come!
