ART EXPLODES IN THIS PERFECT PAIRING

For their latest Drop City partnership, uber-hip label COMUNE has teamed up with psych-folk fashion fave Devendra Banhart to produce a limited edition t-shirt based on a piece of his artwork. That’s right – when he’s not crafting sultry summertime grooves, Banhart makes art.
The shirt, which will be available in August (look out for a Plaid giveaway!), features a pattern magnified from a “monument” (as its described on Banhart’s website) in a classic black and white mix.
Two west coast greats vibing together can only mean cool things to come, and luckily this is only the first of a few collaborations between them.
